We are commanded to not only encrypt the Word of God in our hearts but also to teach it to our children everywhere, especially at home. In Deut. 6:7 it is said: “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” This is the basis of worship in the family.

This book contains two articles designed to help families respond to this commandment. They stress the importance of the subject and provide ideas and practical guidelines on how to implement in practice Joshua’s statement: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
