This picture is one of a series of seven produced by HaGefen Publishing and drawn by the Israeli artist, Diana Shimon.

Israel is traditionally known for its seven fruits: wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives and dates (Deut. 8:8), all native to the country, that served as the main food of Israel in biblical times.

Diana Shimon (1967) immigrated to Israel from Georgia of the former Soviet Union in 1990. She first studied painting under Maestro Leo Ray. She is perhaps best known for her quality illustrations of the Bible, published in the Modern Hebrew Bible for Children.

The series is produced on high quality art paper and signed by the artist.
