Are the circumstances of our life simply coincidental, or is there a hidden hand directing events? Is God in control over all that happens in our world, or just over part of the events? What does it mean, that God takes care me? Does he know all the little details about my life? And if he does, why does he allow evil to spread in the world? What kind of caring is that?!
This booklet was written in an attempt to address these questions. John Flavel lived in the 17th Century in England. Most of his life work was underground, as he opposed intervention of the State (the monarchy in those days) in affairs of the church. He wrote and worked under the constant pressure of persecution, until his death in 1691. Flavel is loved for his ability to speak directly to our heart.
