Jacob was born at Jerusalem, and came to faith there thanks to the witness of LJS workers. He served afterwards as housefather of the Wanderers’ Home in London under Dr. Stern, and then became one of the first missionaries of the Mildmay Mission, zealously labouring in London and then in North Africa.
