מיכאל שלמה אלכסנדר 1799-1846 

אלכסנדר נולד בשׁוּנְלַנְקָה שבגרמניה (כיום העיר הפולנית טְשְׁצִיאָנְקָה, בסמוך לפִּילָה). הוא שירת כרב בקהילות יהודיות באנגלייה בערים נוֹרִיץ' ופְּלִימוּת'. את משרתו איבד לאחר שהחל לגלות עניין בברית החדשה ובמשיח. שישה חודשים לאחר הגיעו לאמונה, הגיעה אשתו גם כן להכרה במשיח. הוא שירת כמבשר בעיר הפְּרוּסִית דַנְצִיג (כיום גְדַנְסְק הפולנית) ובלונדון. בסוף ימיו הוא שירת כבישוף אנגליקני ב"קהילת המשיח" שהתאספה בשער יפו בירושלים (בתקופה העות'מאנית).
